Gokulam Kerala FC sign Argentine midfielder Juan Carlos Nellar

Gokulam Kerala FC have signed experienced Argentine midfielder Juan Carlos Nellar for the upcoming season. The 28-year-old midfielder comes to Gokulam Kerala FC with experience of playing in Argentina, Italy, Spain and Denmark.

He started his professional career in Argentine second division club Instituto At. Central De Cordoba in the year 2016. He later signed for Danish third division club Vanlose IF and then played for Spanish and Italian clubs.

Nellar is the fifth foreign signing and second Latin American player of Gokulam Kerala FC this season. Earlier, the club had announced Aminou Bouba, Boum Somlaga (Cameroon), Vladan Kordic (Montenegro), and Everton Kaka (Brazil).

“I am very excited about this new challenge in India for me. When my agent told me that Gokulam was interested in hiring me, I had no second thoughts. For me it is an honour to join one of the biggest and most successful clubs in India. I am totally grateful for this opportunity and positive for the upcoming season,” said Nellar on the move to Gokulam Kerala FC.
